Current Job Opportunities (August 2018):

Infant Teacher/Assistant Teacher and Toddler Teacher/Assistant Teacher

Kids X-Cel Center has fulltime teaching positions available. Shifts typically fall between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.

General position responsibilities:
° Works in partnership with other teaching staff to implement classroom curriculum with an emphasis on social emotional development.
° Assists in creating and implementing weekly lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate.
° Develops partnerships with parents/guardians to engage and encourage participation and support of the child in the classroom.
° Responsible for following MN DHS Rule 3 guidelines.
° Actively engages with children during all classroom activities, creating a positive and playful learning environment where the children are able to flourish and reach their individual potentials.
° Performs on-going developmental observations and maintains accurate documentation to assist lead teacher in meeting the individual needs of each child.
° Maintains accurate, complete, and timely student and center documentation including daily sheets, attendance records, emergency forms, injury forms/logs, separation logs, etc.
° Assists with the implementation of CACFP (food program).
° Responsible for attending staff meetings, classroom and center events, and required trainings.

Wage is based on education and experience.

Substitute Fulltime or Parttime Teachers 

Position responsibilities:

°Works in various classrooms as needed.  Fills in for teachers and other staff during vacations and other absences. Therefore, shifts will vary from week to week.
°Flexibility and adaptability required!
